I had a decent stay at The Barley Sheaf Inn, with a warm welcome and clean room to start. The food was a highlight, especially the breakfast, but the noise from the pub below really disrupted my sleep. If you're looking for a lively atmosphere, this place fits the bill, but if you need a quiet night, it might not be the best choice.

My stay at The Barley Sheaf Inn had its ups and downs. The food, especially the roast dinner, was delicious and served by friendly staff, but the noise levels from the pub below made it hard to get a restful night's sleep. While the location and dining options were great, I wouldn't recommend it for families wanting a quiet retreat.

My stay at The Barley Sheaf Inn was quite mixed. The pub's lively atmosphere and friendly staff certainly enhanced my experience, and I enjoyed the delicious homemade food, but some concerning elements left me uneasy. The cleanliness and modernity of my room were impressive, yet I was disappointed by the aggressive behavior of the owner, which overshadowed what could have been a lovely evening out.

My stay at The Barley Sheaf Inn was quite disappointing overall. The noise from the pub below made it hard to get a good night's sleep, especially with karaoke on Thursday nights. Although the breakfast was quite good, the state of the rooms and lack of effective customer service left much to be desired. I wish I had chosen a different place for my stay. 😞

My stay at The Barley Sheaf Inn was enjoyable overall, with friendly staff and delicious meals. The central location was a definite plus, but I found the signage outside somewhat misleading regarding the menu options (which could use some clarity).
